From Yokosuka Base:

1. Exit the base and turn right on Route 16
2. Turn left on Route 27 ('Slot Road') - across from Daiei as if you are heading to Shiori Station
3. Follow Route 27 until you come to Route 217 (Shonan International Village); turn left at this intersection (there is a big blue sign that reads 'Shonan Village') follow direction from I to continue.

Alternate route from the base to Route 217

1. Enter the Yoko-Yoko Road; you'll want to exit at Exit 6 (Zushi).
2. You will pay the 100 Yen toll and then bear left on the "Zuyu Toll Road."
3. Stay on this toll road until you come to the toll booth.
4. Pay the 100 Yen toll and take your first left (this will be Route 217).
5. You will proceed through two back-to-back long tunnels, finally coming to the intersection of Routes 217 and 27.
6. Proceed straight through the light and you'll be heading 'up' the hill toward Shonan Village.
7. The directions from here are the same as if you'd avoided the tolls and came to Route 217 via Route 27 (Slot Road) - see below from I.

From Ikego Base

1. Exit base and go straight towards Route 24 (Seven Eleven)
2. Turn Left on Route 24 where seven eleven will be seen on right hand side.
3. Take your next (immediate) right.
4. Follow the road pass and you will see a high school on the right side and turn left at the stop light.
5. Make the 1st right to go downhill and turn left when you hit the traffic light.
6. Take your first right (this will be route 217) follow direction from I to continue.

1. Stay on Route 217 you'll go 'up' the mountain and then 'down' the other side. You will proceed through two tunnels (back-to-back) after you come "down"
2. Upon exiting the tunnels you will come to a "T" intersection; you will also see the ocean directly in front of you. Turn right at the "T" you are now on Route 134 (the coast road)
3. Continue straight on Route 134 (shortly after making the right turn on to Route 134, you will see an Indian restaurant on the right side of the road called "Royal Parasol")
4. Turn left at the second light (just after crossing a small bridge). The road is narrow and it heads downhill; it will lead you toward the beach. This will lead you to a small parking lot where you may park. If you are asked to pay for parking, tell the gate person that you are visiting Hayama International School. We can provide you with a temporary pass if necessary.
5. You will want to walk (tracing the path you just came from) back to the traffic light on Route 134)
6. Cross at the light and bear left at the "fork" you will be walking uphill for about 50 yards. The school will be on your left; you will know by the multi-colored steps.

From Shin-Zushi station:

Once you exit the train, walk directly right out of the station, which will lead you out to the street. Walk in that direction to the second bus stop (just before a T-shaped intersection). Take the 4,5,6,7,8,71, or 72 bus for about 30 minutes(and 310 yen) until you reach Kuruwa-Kaigan. We are just up the hill from the bus stop.

From JR Zushi station:

Go out the main exit. From Bus platform #2, take the 4,5,6,7,8,71, or 72 bus for about 30 minutes(and 310 yen) until you reach Kuruwa-Kaigan. We are just up the hill from the bus stop
